The Busters are one of the Elite Men’s Soccer Programs in the Nation. In 2008 GCCC won the Region VI title, Plains District Championship, and went to the NJCAA Final Four. They finished the season #4 in the country, and a record of 19-3-1. Garden City also had 7 players named to the All Conference team, 7 players named All Region team, 1 KJCCC Freshmen of the Year, and 2 NJCAA All Americans. The Busters are one of the leaders in the country in sending players to the next level; as they have players playing NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and numerous players in the Professional ranks.
